Rigorous testing was accomplished off site in my yard. You can see the robotic arm mounted on the corner of the 'kids' tree house. The target for the PPAG is a piece of real high voltage cable suspended high above the ground. My neighbors asked if I was joining 'the Circus'. The purpose of this project was to automatically create a 'minimum safety air-gap' between a live high voltage line and the grounded tip of the robot arm. Should the line voltage exceed a designated value, a spark will 'shoot' this gap, thereby saving the life of any lineman working in the area.
